01Where does my stock reward come from?+
In the proposed rewards program, participating merchants would pay a commission for a qualifying sale. A disclosed portion would fund your selected tokenized stock after settlement. Merchant funding is not an investment return. No merchant rewards provider or stock-conversion service is connected yet.
02Do I need to invest my own money?+
The proposed reward flow uses the merchant-funded portion of a qualifying purchase. You do not make an extra investment deposit. You still pay for your purchase, and any conversion costs or minimums must be shown before a live offer is activated.
03Can I choose the stocks I earn?+
AutoRebate lets you save allocation preferences on this device. Saving preferences does not buy tokens or activate a rewards program. Live instrument availability and eligibility depend on the issuer, region, and supported market.
04How does Brand-to-Stock work?+
The proposed feature would direct a qualifying reward toward a supported instrument associated with the merchant. It requires both an eligible merchant offer and an available instrument; otherwise the chosen allocation would be the fallback. Brand-to-Stock is not active, and displayed brand names do not imply partnerships.
05When does a reward reach my portfolio?+
In the intended purchase flow, a detected purchase would be Pending, merchant approval would make it Confirmed, and completed conversion and delivery would make it Invested. That purchase flow is not connected yet. The app shows verified onchain delivery receipts separately; a token transfer does not prove that a merchant commission was earned or converted.
06Is Rebate live yet?+
Rebate is a product preview. The reward contract is deployed on Robinhood mainnet, and the app can read supported token balances and verified onchain reward receipts. No sample portfolio, purchase history, or offer rates are shown. Merchant tracking, card linking, and automatic stock purchases are not connected. Contract deployment alone does not activate the rewards program.
07Is a tokenized stock the same as holding a share?+
A tokenized instrument can provide exposure to an underlying stock, but its legal rights, backing, custody, transfer rules, and redemption depend on the specific issuer. Direct share ownership, voting rights, and dividends must not be assumed. Rebate will disclose the selected instrument before launch.
08How does Rebate make money?+
The planned model is to retain a disclosed share of each settled merchant commission. The user reward, Rebate’s share, eligibility, and any conversion costs must be shown with a verified live offer. No active offers or reward rates are available today.
09Does connecting a wallet connect my card?+
No. Privy handles sign-in and wallet connection. Connecting a payment card requires a separate card-linked rewards provider and your consent. This preview never asks for card numbers, bank credentials, seed phrases, or private keys.
10Can the value of my rewards go down?+
Yes. After investment, tokenized-stock values can fall. Issuer, custody, liquidity, and network risks may also apply. A reward amount is not a promised future value or guaranteed return.
